5317-Digital Resources: Final Compilation Post

During this course, I explored a range of digital tools and publication formats, immersing myself in audio, visual, and written media. Through this exploration, I successfully crafted a final publication draft and reflections summarizing my evolving insights. This process enabled me to refine my vision  for implementing innovative gamified and blended learning experiences that engage students.

Publication Outline

Crafting this outline clarified my vision and objectives for sharing my experience with gamified, blended learning. Mapping possible topics, audiences, and key messages helped refine my ideas.  This framework worked great in helping me  to write a draft, get feedback, and iterate towards an impactful article advocating my passion for innovative education.

Publication Rough Draft

Developing a rough draft allowed me to expand on my vision for gamified, blended learning and delve into practical strategies for implementation. Writing out key sections like assessing collaborative work and blended learning tips helped me refine my ideas and advice for fellow educators. . This draft enabled  me to craft an impactful, inspirational final piece on innovative pedagogy.

Publication Final Draft

Finalizing this piece allowed me to refine my vision and advice based on feedback from colleagues and instructor. Polishing the writing, organization, and flow aims to craft an accessible guide to implementing innovative gamified learning. The iterative drafting process helped sharpen my focus and make this a motivational call to action for reimagining education. I'm excited to see how these concepts might inspire other teachers and classes take on their own gamified quests!

Media Project - Podcast

Me and Lance Moran had a great time creating this podcast and in the end produced something we were both very proud of.   To make it more interesting I decided to animate the first few minutes of the podcast and I got a lot of great feedback about it. Thoroughly enjoyed the process and results. I really loved this project.

Contributions to My Learning+Learning Community

I made an effort to fully engage with my peers and instructors to maximize my learning. By completing all required materials and being an involved member of the learning community, I believe I made valuable contributions. I'm grateful for everything I learned through the meaningful interactions and experiences in this course.

I leveraged digital tools to produce a publication, podcast, and reflective writings documenting my insights. Collaborating with peers, providing feedback, and completing all materials enriched my learning. Most importantly, I refined my vision for reimagining education and crafted an inspirational guide to share key strategies. By fully engaging in this course, I developed valuable knowledge and skills to implement impactful, student-centered teaching practices. I'm grateful for the meaningful experiences that equipped me to make a positive difference as an educator.
