About me

Matt Brooks is a game design teacher at Buinger Career and Technology Education Academy who is changing the way students learn.  His engaging and innovative teaching methods have made game design one of the most popular electives at BCTEA. Matt's classroom is an encouraging and stimulating environment where students are able to explore their creativity through game development. From coding to 3D modeling to storytelling, Matt's curriculum covers all aspects of bringing a game from concept to completion. Matt mentors students outside of class as well, guiding them as they create games that reflect their passions. He firmly believes that game design prepares students for the creative jobs of the future. Matt doesn't just teach his students, he empowers them to unlock their potential and make their mark on the world.
