Reflecting on My Participation in the Learning Community
As these courses draw to a close, I wanted to take some time to look back on my role in the learning community for 5304 and 5317. Overall, I aimed to fully engage with my peers and instructors to get the most out of these classes.
When it comes to my key contributions, I made a concerted effort to regularly assess what study methods worked well for me and areas I could improve. For instance, I found taking detailed notes during the video lessons really helped the information stick.
I was an active team member within my core collaboration squad. I took the initiative to make our shared Google Doc much more detailed by adding in resources links and links to the actual blackboard assignments. My groupmate Deena gave me a shoutout for helping keep us organized, while Shaneigh also mentioned how the doc allowed her to focus. I also made sure to give constructive feedback on my group's presentations and assignments. Overall, our team was highly collaborative and supportive of each other.
Additionally, I carefully revised all my individual and group work based on the detailed feedback provided. This revision process reinforced my learning. I also completed all required readings, videos, and other materials on schedule per the class calendar.
In terms of supportive contributions, I aimed to demonstrate leadership on group projects and fully participate across all learning activities. This included contributing well-researched, properly cited posts to the class forums focused on advancing everyone's learning.
In summary, I believe I made valuable contributions to both 5304 and 5317 through active participation in discussions, group work, and helping others. I'm grateful to have been part of such great learning communities and for everything I learned in these courses.

I have been fortunate to work with an incredible collaborative group for both 5304 and 5317. Lance, in particular, has an been invaluable resource, sharing his insights and experience with us that are just getting started.
