The Why, How, and What of Innovation

As an educator my constant goal is to find approaches that can captivate and empower my students. I continually foster their creativity, thinking and collaboration abilities to prepare them for the world the best I can. This deep passion has led me to envision a blended learning program that could truly offer an impactful experience, for our students, teachers and community. This blog post aims to express the reasons behind this proposed innovation while reflecting on how these statements can resonate with everyone involved and instill a sense of urgency in bringing this vision to life.


Why. We firmly believe that everyone possesses limitless potential which can be unlocked through a shift in perspective achieved by engaging in thought provoking gamified learning experiences.

How. Our approach involves developing a game project that incorporates disciplines encouraging creativity, collaboration and practical application of knowledge in real world contexts.

What. Students will actively participate in co-creating games centered around the concepts of neuroplasticity and growth mindset. This will cultivate comprehension, valuable skills acquisition, as well as long lasting motivation to embrace lifelong learning.


Reflection:

The foundation of my “Why” lies in my conviction that each student holds untapped potential within themselves. This statement aims to connect with stakeholders on a deep level by emphasizing my student centered philosophy. It conveys the idea that education should empower people to discover and unleash their talents. The emotional appeal lies in tapping into the desire for growth and the fear of being held back. It also resonates with educators by providing a pathway to empower their students and address the growing complacency among youth.

The described approach, which involves collaboration and game based learning creates excitement and a sense of urgency. It promises a combined engaging learning experience.
